Saturn and Apollo Scale Conversion Table -- Multipliers

Here's a handy set of numbers modelers can use in changing scales between different Saturn V and Apollo kits or scratchbuilt models. While the 1/12 and 1/24 scales are for the most part wishful thinking for commercial injection kits, some future collector miniatures are possible at these sizes. Percentages for use in artwork programs, etc. can be gotten by moving two decimal places to the right.

Example: Say you want to add scratchbuilt details seen on a Monogram 1/32 CSM to Apogee's 1/70 Saturn V CSM. To convert a 1/32 scale model part that's 1.2" long to 1/70, go down the left-hand column to 1/32, and then read across to 1/70 to find .457.

1.2" x .457 = .548", the length of the scaled-down part.

Many modelers own a variety of calculators and scale rulers to aid in scale conversions. This table is simply a one-stop shop for the popular scales of Saturn and Apollo models.
